Blow moulding is generally acknowledged as the most suitable process, also from a financial point of view, when wishing to obtain hollow objects with thin walls. It finds acclaim in small batch production, thanks to the low costs involved in producing the mould and the moulding process.
This field, too, has seen an enormous advance in technology, with normal equipment now integrating various types of finishing, made usually after production, such as trimming of excess material, unthreading of threaded areas, needle blowing, automatic insertion of metal or plastic parts, etc...
